Pioneers don't know all the answers.
But they know how to work them out.
We are the original disruptors in solid-state satcom-on-the-move technology, and we’re closing in on our goal: connectivity that’s super fast, super reliable and interoperable.
And that, in a nutshell, is what we give our people too: all the agility and fast-paced opportunity you’d expect from a challenger, plus the systems, processes and investment you’d want from an established industry leader.
The question is what do you have?

Find me a jobStretch yourself at the cutting-edge: inventive combination of digital/analogue architectures gives highest gain for lowest power, lowest profile. Configurable apertures for the full range of enterprise customers – GEO, LEO, MEO and HEO. Ku today, Ka tomorrow.
Learn from the best: our seasoned engineers have decades of experience as global leaders in this complex field. They know how to share their knowledge and how to learn from the bright stars joining us at every level. Because the best in tech needs the best in human. Scroll down to meet some of them.
Make your mark: Only we have demonstrated multi-axis capability in real-world conditions. And thanks to our 5* test facilities (in-house, near- and far-field), we have what others don’t: a mature, fully integrated system prototype, now being honed for product release.
Grow with us: we are part of the South Korean Hanwha Systems. Our AESAs are set to play a key role in this technology giant’s ambitious satcoms future – strengthened recently by its $300M investment in OneWeb, the satcom pioneer whose LEO constellation will deliver global coverage by 2022.
Together we will make history: we have appointed a world-class, global development and manufacturing partner, and two of the world’s best FABs are working on our chips. You’ll join a winning team.
At Hanwha Phasor, you'll find seasoned experts from global leaders, up-and-coming satcom stars and everything in between. It's this extraordinary range of talent that got us to where we are today.
We are a diverse, friendly, hard-working crew, hand-picked from all over the world, headquartered in the UK. We don't have all the answers but we know how to get through the tough times and work them out. We're on a mission we believe in.
And with our growth set to super fast for the foreseeable future, we're searching high and low for the talent who'll keep us ahead. The best in technology needs the best in human.
How do you go from measuring the salt and water content of cheese to stopping Dreamliners from colliding in mid-air? Adrian Green became a world expert in antenna systems by solving these and many other challenges. The former Cobham Chief Engineer has joined us for what could be the biggest yet.
After 20+ years at some of the biggest names in aerospace and defence, Lead Mechanical Engineer Gordon Riach wanted a new challenge from new technology.
“I’m finding Hanwha Phasor has an abundance of intelligent life,” he asserts, “and we’re just the right size for it to flourish. Good ideas get implemented fast – you can make your mark on next-gen satcom.”
With two patents for what became foundational 5G technologies to her name, Fiona Wilson joined Hanwha Phasor to help fast-track the future of satcom. “Breakthroughs are about looking sideways,” she says. “If you can throw new light, the shadows move and you can see a way through.”
Four antennas on a chip. Some 150 chips on a board. And that's before you configure the beam. Ku band today, Ka tomorrow. Principal ASIC Design Engineer Hossam Mousa explores five of the big challenges ahead as we scale up and get to work on our next generation chip.
“We’re not building one antenna but 4,000 on each of our transmit and receive arrays. This involves some 150 printed circuit boards, 17 of which are unique. To get the high performance we need, they’ve got to be orchestrated to the nanosecond, says Lead Hardware Engineer Oliver Kent. “That is today’s challenge but there will be an endless number for hungry innovators as our mobile satcom product range develops.”
Big technical challenges at the cutting edge, experts who love to share their knowledge and a rapid-growth ‘scale-up’ business based in the heart of London. It’s been the ideal next step from my graduate programme at the European Space Agency, says Senior Antenna Engineer Sophie Gomanne.
