Marketing Communications Manager [HPLMC001]

Hanwha Phasor is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to formulate and execute on it’s marcomms strategy.  

You will use your experience in the satcom industry to develop online and offline channels and identify and initiate communication with potential customers.  As the first dedicated marcomms professional in the organisation, you will be given the freedom to create innovative and impactful material and campaigns and be a key player in the development of this exciting brand.

Technical Responsibilities: 

  • Distribute and publish relevant and appropriate company updates via suitable channels.
  • Be always up to date on industry news relevant to the company, producing weekly memos to be shared with the management committee 
  • Select communication channels most suitable to the organisation.
  • Produce high quality company presentations and ensure brand continuity.
  • Promote industry related topics across various channels.
  • Monitor the company’s website and other social media and respond to any queries.
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of company materials and distribute through online and offline channels.
  • Produce press releases, industry blogs and any additional promotional activity.
  • Manage social media campaigns and tracking and reporting success and ROI.
  • Become the voice of the brand.

Organisational Responsibilities:

  • Recommending marcomms strategies to senior management.
  • Working closely with other departments (e.g. engineering, HR) to understand the company values, identity, technology and customer proposition.
  • Developing the new brand identity of Hanwha Phasor, ensuring it is strong, relevant and represents the culture and values of the company.
  • Producing a cohesive, insightful and impactful marcomms strategy for the short, mid and long term.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Solid track record as a marcomms professional in the satcom industry, preferably in a start up or fast growth field.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field (or equivalent experience)
  • SEO knowledge, Google Analytics, etc
  • Experience of managing and participating in tradeshows
  • Experience of managing the main social media channels and company website
  • Experience with the various associated software packages (WordPress, Office, Powerpoint, SAP, etc)
  • Excellent English writing skills and an understanding of technology “jargon”.

Hanwha Phasor Ltd’s Technology Centre is based in modern, open plan offices with great views, in the vibrant area of Hatton Garden, London.  

For transport we have excellent connections, with Farringdon, City Thameslink and Kings Cross St Pancras over ground stations within walking distance, and Chancery Lane and Farringdon tube stations within a 5-minute walk.

There are showers, cycle racks, lockers and a coffee shop on site. A number of networking and social events run throughout the year.
